GLUTEN-FREE Brown Rice Pasta
Dove’s Farms Organics do a range of gluten-free foods, including flours and pasta. However, for those of us with cross-reactive gluten sensitivity, it’s best to avoid gluten-free products contaning corn or maize. If we’re watching our insulin, we should avoid gluten-free products with lots of starches like potato flour. This brown rice penne contains only organic brown rice so it’s a safer option than some of the other products, as brown rice is high in protein. Click the image to order!
This gluten-free flour was one of our founder’s saving graces. When she had to go gluten-free and had previously spent a lifetime eating bread, the flatbreads made from this flour kept her sane and on track. Enjoy its slightly nutty, earthy taste, and the fact that it’s closest in consistency to gluten containing bread. It’s also rich in magnesium, the superstar mineral for stress reduction. We know that store-bought gluten-free breads can taste quite chalky and unappealing. They’re generally also full of multiple ingredients, including highly inflammatory binders and preservatives. However this bread mix is a paleo bread mix and has only 5 ingredients. Made with coconut and almond flour, it asks that all you add is a little olive or coconut oil and eggs. Make it vegan by using flaxseeds as an egg replacer. Check out the other products in their range when you click the image to order!
When you’re going gluten-free it’s tempting to go for replacement grains like rice and corn. However, if you’ve been dealing with a compromised digestive systems, grains can be irritating to the intestinal walls. Corn, in particular, can mimic gluten and give symptoms of cross-reactive gluten-sensitivity. Despite the “wheat” in its name, Buckwheat is actually a grass and it’s gluten-free. It’s rich in magnesium, which is great for reducing stress. Chia is also rich in omegas, protein and fibre, so all in all, these crackers pack a high nutritional punch! Click the image to order!

Our favourite non-dairy milk due to the fact that there are only 3 ingredients – almonds, water, and himalayan salt. When swapping out dairy products, you can be assured that this is as unprocessed as it gets. Try their hazelnut, cashew, and coconut milks and find the one that works best for you! Holy Basil or Tulsi in Ayurveda is an adaptogenic herb, which means that it is very supportive of the body’s adrenal glands. When aiming to reduce your stress or toxic load, opt for Tulsi tea instead of coffee, as it lowers cortisol, the stress hormone. Click the image to order!
If you’re having to omit fermented soy products, but would still like to enjoy Asian inspired food, then choosing coconut aminos is an easy substitute for soy sauce. It’s gluten-free, which soy sauce isn’t, and tremendously nutritious. Coconut is rich in antioxidants, which can support a healthy heart, weight, blood sugar, immunity, and protect against cancer.
